Sagt is private dictation for macOS. Press a key, speak, and clean text appears in whatever app you're using — transcription runs entirely on your Mac. No cloud, no account, no audio uploads. Ever.
macOS 14+ · Apple Silicon · $19, pay once — yours forever, all 1.x updates free
Speech recognition runs on the Neural Engine, on your machine. Sagt works with Wi-Fi off. Your voice is never sent anywhere — there is no server to send it to.
A sentence transcribes in well under a second. Speak, release the key, and the text is already at your cursor.
Slack, Mail, Xcode, Notion — anywhere you can type, you can talk. One hotkey, every app, no per-app setup.
